You only offer 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC. We are required to file 1099-DIV's as well, and we are now legally required to Electronically file them. It would be good to be able to do all that in one place.
Thank you for your feedback. We are excited to announce that we have added support for 1099-DIV and 1099-INT forms to Sage BusinessWorks 2024. You will see new options in AP, Vendors, Maintain Vendors, Other for the 1099 Type (DIV, INT, NEC, MISC) and the 1099 boxes. Note that if you have a 1099 Vendor that uses SSN/ITIN that you need to select this option and enter the Vendors first and last name to allow successful completion of your 1099 processing.
They are set up as vendors in our system. And in the other tab, we select for the 100 MISC/NEC, we select box #1. Prior to the IRS requiring E-filing, we were able to manipulate the data to print in the correct boxes for DIV since it doesnt offer DIV. But now that we have to E-File, we cant do that. We need a DIV form option. Hopefully that makes sense! Thank you

Thank you for your suggestion!
Where are you storing or recording dividends paid in BusinessWorks? That would help us to determine whether this could be done.
